How to connect to Southwest Airlines Wi-Fi?
- Turn on Airplane Mode and connect to the “SouthwestWiFi” Wi-Fi network.
- Open a browser and type Southwestwifi.com in the address bar.

If you have a connecting flight, you need to purchase Wi-Fi for both legs.
Wi-Fi is free for A-List Preferred Members and Business Select Customers on up to three devices per flight on the day of travel. A-List Preferred members who have purchased Business Select fare may connect up to six devices per flight on the day of travel.
To access the free Internet, open the Wi-Fi portal, toggle the hamburger menu, and select A-List Preferred & Business Select. Log in with your Rapid Rewards account or enter your flight confirmation number to authorize your device.
Free Texting: All passengers are eligible for free texting service with WhatsApp and iMessage. Visit the portal to activate the free texting service.

Can I stream videos and movies on Southwest Airlines Wi-Fi?
No, Southwest Airlines prohibits high bandwidth activities such as streaming movies and videos on YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, and HBO. However, you can use the Inflight Entertainment to watch a variety of movies, TV series, and live TV.
Can I make voice or video calls on Southwest Airlines Wi-Fi?
No. As per FAA policy, voice calls or audio transmissions are not allowed on any flight.
Can I swap Wi-Fi between devices?
On Viasat equipped aircraft, you can transfer Wi-Fi service to a different device. Open the Wi-Fi portal, toggle on the hamburger menu, select “Swap Device”, and follow the screen.
You can not use this feature on Anuvu equipped aircraft.
What to do if Southwest Airlines Wi-Fi is not working?
- Try disconnecting and reconnecting from the Wi-Fi network.
- If the Wi-Fi portal page is not opening, try opening http://8.8.8.8 or http://captive.apple.com in your browser which will force load the captive page.
- Certain privacy functions such as a VPN may interfere with the Wi-Fi connectivity. Consider disabling such privacy features and try again.
- Clear your browser cache, cookies, and browsing history, and try connecting to the Internet.
- On Apple devices, if your Wi-Fi is disconnecting automatically, go to Settings > Wi-Fi > SouthwestWiFi > Toggle on Auto-Join.
