How to use IHG Wi-Fi?

IHG Hotels & Resorts offers free Wi-Fi connectivity to IHG One Rewards members and non-members at more than 6,000+ IHG hotels worldwide. And with the IHG Wi-Fi Auto Connect, guests can automatically join the Wi-Fi network upon arrival at participating IHG properties without requiring logins or passwords.

How to connect to IHG Wi-Fi?

  1. Open Settings > Wi-Fi.
  2. Connect to the “IHG ONE REWARDS Free Wi-Fi” network from the list of available networks.
  3. A Wi-Fi portal page will automatically open in a few seconds. If the page doesn’t pop up, open a browser and type http://qa-connect-edge.ihg.com/ in the address bar.
  4. Enter the registered guest’s Last name and Room # and click Connect. If you have an Internet Access code, enter the Access code instead.
  5. You will be connected to the IHG Wi-Fi network.

Note: If the Wi-Fi Portal page is not opening, clear your browser’s cache and cookies and enter http://8.8.8.8 or http://captive.apple.com in the address bar to force-load the Wi-Fi captive portal.

How to use IHG Wi-Fi Auto Connect?

IHG One Rewards members can use the Wi-Fi Auto Connect feature on the IHG One Rewards mobile app on both iOS and Android.

A one-time setup is required to enable this feature. Follow the steps below:

  1. Download the IHG One Rewards app on Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  2. Sign in with your Email or member number and Password. If you are not a member yet, you can join the IHG One Rewards membership for free.
  3. Select Account > Settings > Wi-Fi Auto Connect.
  4. Tap Enable Wi-Fi Auto Connect. When it prompts “IHG” Wants to Add a Wi-Fi Hotspot Network, select Allow.
  5. You’re all set! You can now connect automatically upon arrival at participating IHG hotels and resorts.

You can disable this feature at any time by visiting Wi-Fi Auto Connect settings. Simply tap “Disable Wi-Fi Auto Connect” and when it prompts “This will remove the Wi-Fi Auto Connect profile” select Remove.
