National Broadband Network, or NBN, is the national internet infrastructure upgrade and expansion initiative by the Australian Government. The project is designed to offer residents and businesses across Australia faster, more reliable, and more convenient internet connections. Copper-based ADSL networks are being replaced by fiber optic cables, wireless, and satellite connections, with some copper still used in some cases.
