- Open a browser and type https://speed.is/au/internode/.
- Select a Host ISP or let it choose the optimal ISP automatically.
- Press the ‘GO’ button to start the Internet Speed Test.
Internode was an Australian internet service provider based in Adelaide, South Australia. It provided NBN broadband, business-class broadband, web hosting, co-location, and Voice over IP services. Founded in 1991 by Robyn Taylor and Simon Hackett, Internode was the first ISP in Australia to offer ADSL2/2+ services. In 2011, iiNet acquired Internode for $105 million. TPG Telecom later acquired iiNet in 2015.

iiNet provides NBN fiber plans designed for reliable and fast internet. Customers can select from various speed options, ranging from 15 Mbps to 800 Mbps. The plans include 24/7 customer support and an NBN phone service that lets customers retain their home phone number. Users can either bring their compatible modem or buy one from iiNet. There are no lock-in contracts, and some plans offer 4G backup in selected areas.
SIM-Only Mobile Plans
iiNet offers SIM-only mobile plans with month-to-month billing, including data, calls, and SMS for both domestic and international numbers. Customers can opt for a physical SIM (free delivery) or an eSIM for compatible devices. Plans include unlimited calls and SMS within Australia and some plans provide international call minutes.
