Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) offer unlimited free Wi-Fi in all the public areas of all terminals. Learn how to connect to the LAX Wi-Fi to stay connected while you are traveling through the airport. The free Wi-Fi service is available for up to 45 minutes. Before the unlimited Wi-Fi access begins you will be presented with a short video ad of 15 to 30 seconds.
How to connect to LAX Airport Wi-Fi?
- Open Settings > Wi-Fi.
- Choose “_LAX Free WiFi” from the Wi-Fi networks list.
- Launch a web browser to open the Wi-Fi landing page.
- Select Free Unlimited Wi-Fi and watch a 30-second advertisement.
- Select “Wi-Fi Connect & Learn More” or “No Thanks, Just Take Me Online” button.
- Enter your mobile number and enter the 4 digit one-time password (OTP) you will receive via call or SMS.
- You are now connected to the LAX Free Wi-Fi network.
Note: A Wi-Fi password is not required to connect the the LAX Free Wi-Fi network.

Trouble connecting to the LAX Wi-Fi
- Disable Random MAC or Private Address feature: iOS 14 and Android 10+ and newer OS versions have a feature that uses a new MAC address every time it connects to a new Wi-Fi network. Boingo, the LAX Airport Wi-Fi service provider requires a static MAC address to connect you to the internet.
- Force load the Wi-Fi landing page: If you are not automatically redirected to the Wi-Fi landing page once you connect to the Wi-Fi network try entering http://8.8.8.8 or http://captive.apple.com on your web browser to force load the captive portal page.
