How to perform PrimeTel Internet Speed Test?
- Open a browser and type https://speed.is/cy/primetel/.
- Select a Host ISP or let it choose the optimal ISP automatically.
- Press the ‘GO’ button to start the Internet Speed Test.
PrimeTel is a telco company based in Cyprus. It was established in 2003 and operates its own 4G mobile network. PrimeTel is the largest privately owned fiber optic network in Cyprus and also provides mobile, fixed telephony, and television services.
In July 2023, PrimeTel was placed into administration after defaulting a loan, but continues to operate and provide services.

PrimeTel offers fiber internet plans with unlimited usage, a 12-month subsidy offer, and free installation.
The entry-level plan provides 200 Mbps download and 60 Mbps upload speeds. Mid-tier plans offer options of 300 Mbps or 500 Mbps download with 100 Mbps or 120 Mbps upload. The flagship plan delivers gigabit internet with 1 Gbps download and 250 Mbps upload.
These plans can also be bundled with telephone service, including unlimited calls to PrimeTel landlines.
Broadband
PrimeTel’s broadband service provides an excellent alternative for customers in areas without fiber connectivity.
The entry-level plan offers 10 Mbps download and 2 Mbps upload speeds, with higher packages available offering 20 Mbps, 30 Mbps, and 50 Mbps download speeds, catering to households with higher bandwidth needs.
The flagship plan provides up to 80 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.
Mobile
PrimeTel offers a range of mobile services, including GIGA Unlimited plans with unlimited data, calls, and SMS. It also provides eSIM for flexible usage, TwinSim for two devices, and Bulk SMS for business use. Additionally, PrimeTel supports Machine to Machine (M2M) services for remote monitoring and data transmission.
TV
PrimeTel offers a range of TV packages, including Basic, Family, Sports, Premium, and Premium Extra, all featuring 18 to 30+ local and international channels. Their TV2GO app allows live TV streaming on smartphones and tablets. PrimeTel also offer bundled internet and TV packages.
