- Open a browser and type https://speed.is/nz/spark/.
- Select a Host ISP or let it choose the optimal ISP automatically.
- Press the ‘GO’ button to start the Internet Speed Test.

The most affordable option provides 4 GB of data at maximum speed, along with unlimited data at reduced speeds. The top-tier offering includes unlimited data at maximum speeds. All Endless Plans also feature unlimited text and calls to New Zealand and Australian numbers.
Prepaid Options
Spark offers prepaid mobile plans for customers who want more control over their usage. These plans include various value packs that provide mobile data ranging from 1.5 GB to 40 GB for a duration of 28 days.
The most expensive prepaid plan features unlimited data at reduced speeds, as well as unlimited calls to any New Zealand and Australian numbers.
Wireless Broadband
Basic Wireless
Basic Wireless is the entry-level plan for Spark’s wireless broadband service. It includes 40 GB of data and comes with a landline. The plan offers an average download speed of 61 Mbps and an average upload speed of 18 Mbps.
Everyday Wireless
Mid-tier broadband plan offered by Spark that provides unlimited data, though it does not include a free landline. The plan offers similar speeds to Basic Wireless.
Max Wireless
Flagship wireless broadband plan that provides unlimited data but doesn’t come with a free landline. It has an average download speed of 329 Mbps and an average upload speed of 49 Mbps.
Fibre Plans
Spark offers a range of Fibre service plans to accommodate different user needs.
The Lite Fibre plan features a data allowance of 120 GB, with an average download speed of 50 Mbps and an average upload speed of 10 Mbps.The Everyday Fibre plan provides unlimited data and offers average download speeds of 50 Mbps, with upload speeds of either 10 Mbps or 20 Mbps, catering to users with varying demands.
For power users, the Max Fibre plan is designed to deliver high performance, offering unlimited data with average download speeds of 908 Mbps and average upload speeds of 518 Mbps.

ADSL/VDSL
For customers without access to wireless or fiber options, Spark offers unlimited ADSL and VDSL broadband plans.
The ADSL plan provides an average download speed of 10 Mbps and an upload speed of 1 Mbps. In contrast, the VDSL plan offers faster performance with average download speeds of 41 Mbps and upload speeds of 11 Mbps.
Rural Wireless Broadband
Rural Wireless Broadband connects homes to the internet using Spark’s 4G wireless network.
